Alex Wenzel

Of Counsel

Alex is Of Counsel with Jewell Jimmerson where he practices corporate law and performs oil and gas title and regulatory work in Colorado. 

Over the course of his career, he has represented small single-member LLCs all the way up to publicly traded companies, and advised on matters ranging from corporate structure and formation to political engagement strategies for large companies.

Prior to practicing law, Alex played competitive golf for the University of Cincinnati’s Bearcat golf team, after which he worked on staff at the White House in Washington DC. After leaving the White House, Alex earned his JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Transportation Law Journal, president of the Federalist Society chapter, and graduated in the top 15% of his class.

A true Coloradan at heart, Alex loves taking his Jeep off road, white water rafting, climbing 14ers, and snowboarding with his wife and kids.
